Montmorency and Mott Pink

Know that feeling!

Wonderful! I think I’ve got a bunch of Mott’s Pink grafted, including on this Apple-Pear Frankentree, but I mixed up my labels, I think, and it might actually be a Cripp’s Pink on that tree.

I’m excited to try Mott’s Pink, pink Pearl, Rubyat, and their crosses.

I’ll ask my dad to get a picture of the flowers in the spring, and it should be clear.

I’ve been meaning to to show @mrsg47 how well my Mott’s Pink are doing this year:

What rootstocks do you use? Nice trees. Very neat and organized.

The Mott’s Pink are on M.111, but the apples range from standard to dwarf. P.18, B.118, M.111, M,106, G,890, M,7, G.210, G,222, B.9, and G.214. The rootstocks are grouped together by type and rows start as standards. As you move across the orchard the rootstocks become more dwarfing. Each group of root stocks is planted out alphabetically by cultivar.
