Morris Burton growing well

Thanks for posting the picture. Hope you will add a few more pictures as the fruit matures. My Morris Burton grew up to about 6.5 feet. I’m going to push it to send out limbs next year.

All my Morris Burton dropped. The last one dropped about 3 weeks after everyone else. A slow, painful dead.

Unfortunately one of the fruits dropped. I guess I jinxed myself by talking about it.
Two more are holding on and I hope they stay on.

Put in MB last year myself. They say it is a massive cropper.

Misery loves company. I watched 5 astringents (american and asian) drop everything. Think I have like 6 Hachiya still hanging. Non astringents don’t seem to be as bad in the dropping dept.

Good luck!

I bet you have no seeds.

Unfortunately I appear to have jinxed myself. All the fruits had dropped off when I checked this morning.
I dont feel so bad as I have many other new varieties that will likely hold on to be able to try this fall -

Does anyone know if “Lg Morris Burton” is a different fruit? Or how different? Or whatever really, I grafted an Lg Morris Burton and don’t really know what it is.
Sorry if I’m hijacking the thread a tad.
So far the Lg is growing well, but way too young yet for fruit.
