My newly grafted pear tree looks sick!

Hi all,
What is wrong with my Pear tree? It seems to have become sick overnight! All my other apples and pears seem ok. I hope this isn’t fire blight !

I have the same problem. It might be the lack of watering or pear psilla. My problem seems more like the dry weather. I lost the most leaves on the sunny side of the tree.

Thanks for your reply. The soil was extremely wet when I checked. Could this be caused by overwatering? It has been very hot here though.

It does not look like FB.
I noticed some my pear leaves develop these dark patches after a heat wave.

I have the same thing happening on two of mine, good to know it could be the heat, it had been exceptionally warm last week.

Today it looks like this. All leaves look completely burnt.

Unfortunately the tree never recovered. It went completely brown and died. I suspect too much water. What confounds me is none of the other trees ( I have atleast a dozen others that I grafted at the same time) are exhibiting symptoms. They were planted in the same kind of soil and are all in SIPs.
