What apple varieties do you have?
Thank you. We have: Zestar, Honeycrisp (2), Pink Lady, Jon-A-Red and Snow Sweet. We lost a Candy-Crisp last year that had just begun producing wonderful tasting apples.

How long did CandyCrisp take to start bearing? I have one that I am about to cut down.
It was planted in 2012 and has not fruited yet.
I believe 4 years as a bare-root semi-dwarf. It was a really nice tree. Last year we had a significant wind storm and the tree loosened up at the roots. We attempted to straighten it up but it was significantly stunted. We pulled all of the fruit off to help conserve energy but it just never recovered so we removed it. I’ve read that too much nitrogen can keep the trees in a vegetative state rather than fruiting. Maybe that’s it? The apples we had off of it were very large and tasty.
