Well it’s better this way, it’s too young. This is a tree that will improve a lot each year on fruit number, size and flowers. Now my tree get covert on huge flowers and fruits!

I finally picked my White Transparent apple. She is heavy, she weights 150g and is big and pretty!

wildfires starting near us now… it’s soo hot! Humidity is just on 9%!
Our fruit trees are stressed and starting to drop fruit…

Be safe, Luis, and be prepared to leave quickly if you must. Best of luck to you and your family - and your orchard.

Wildfires everywhere Luis. Are u safe? It smells of fire everywhere. I am near Viana do Castelo for a few days and the smell of fire is strong.
Things are bad in Palmela and in the Algarve

Yes, the coverage here in U.S. by the Washington Post is depressing.

Every year in Portugal, Spain, Greece its the same crap with wildfires. The portuguese government a few years ago made mandatory for everyone that owns properties to clear a path on them and clear from overgrown weeds to help to avoid the spread of wildfires. The fines are big for people that dont do it… but… there are lots of pine and eucaliptus forest whose owners are either dead or unknown … so the problem remains
