Thanks! I will have a bit more…
We eat the White Transparent apple today and liked it a lot. It’s not crunchy but it’s aromatic and a with a nice acidity.
A friend just offered me a Supermanga apple tree! ![]()
@Luisport What is the name of the plant with long, red flower petals in your May 30 post in the y small fruit tree orchard" thread? It is beautiful.
Hi! It’s sprekelia formosissima. It’s a bulb flower plant. Thanks.
I just got one very rare White Knight apple tree… ![]()
“White Knight is a very, very pale milky cream coloured apple with a delicate and subtle, sweet but not insipid flavour ‘reminiscent of peardrops’. It is ready for harvest in October and will store for several weeks.”
Hi! For now all of them. I didn’t start to graf other varieties on my trees. But many of them are still small.
Fabulous! I think you should keep it that way. No need for damage of one tree to affect multiple cultivars.
Do you think so?
But i want to have more varieties… That’s the only way…
Mostly male.
You are building an apple repository. I have a over 600 fig varieties on 0.1 hectare, 2 in the ground and the others in tree pots.
I can graft just on more usual varieties like starking and gala or plant biger rootstocks trees to graft varieties…
What do you mean? They will not produce? They have some formed fruits…
A single pomegranate plant will have female and male flowers, the latter predominantly at the ends of branches.
The two trees with flowers are side by side…
Oh, I wasn’t worried about pollination!
