Same in the Seattle area, though there are many lots barely over 3000 ft² (under 300 m²) in my neighborhood. Mine is just about exactly 1/8th an acre (about 500 m²), and I’m already trying to find an empty lot outside the more densely populated areas, just for trees.
I thought of buying a small house with land down in FallBrook or Bonsal for more trees, but my husband didn’t like that idea. I’m glad I didn’t pursue the idea because 5 years later, I now think I have enough. It maybe harder to take care off eventually. I can’t even eat all the fruit and vegetables from my garden, I have to give away. But I love growing things, so I do them sequentially. Right now I’m growing okra and ping Tung long eggplant, crops that I rarely eat because the season is over for other vegetables.
Ok…i guess my ‘guesser’ is rusty.
Better than me, I had no clue.

Riscadinha de Palmela apple
We liked it. It’s acid sweet but more sweet. Aromatic too. It’s crunchy. We could let it stand more time but it was great.
I loved this video… it’s in Portuguese but you can translate the legends.
