My small fruit tree orchard

Compared to the rest of the eastern hemisphere, western Europe took a long time to move on from medlar to a more palatable fruit: apples. That was a 1,000 years ago.

Rojo Brillante persimmon… They are small because it’s the first time this tree fruits but they are like a very sweet persimmon pudding! :yum:

A new apple espalier. The outrageous sun and heat this past summer, killed the right half of my espalier. Really sad. Buying a new one!

Pretty apples. Do you spray much, or is your climate just good in that disease and bug damage is low?

Thanks! No i don’t spray and never did. My area is an old apple production area, so i think they just like it… no bugs or too important diseases. Just a lot of birds so i have to bag everything!
