Hopefully you already sorted this out!
But if not, please be very careful of any raw papaya! Raw GMO’s are extremely dangerous, cause cancer and many other problems, papayas that are not infected with GMO genes are rare outside Thailand and Rainbow papaya is a very common GMO strain. GMO testing is cheap and worth it before you trust them or start using them for hopefully health benefits.

Cooked GMO’s are much less dangerous with the mutation allowing genes already denatured or at least dead. You have such a wonderful place, I hope you take care with your papayas and start spreading non GMO papayas and seeds from there.

I know you put the brix, but how sweet is that eatting-wise? Are they actually sweet enough to eat fresh, or are they still pretty sour?

I can eat both, but definately sanbokan is much easier to eat out of hand. Its like a sweet lemon, without bitterness and a bit sweet. Very nice for me.
Regarding Yuzu nº30 its a yuzu hybrid (yuzu + sweet tangerine) so its still acid, a bit bitter with strong tangerine taste and very aromatic. I can eat with no problem but my wife can’t. They are great for recepies with citrus, marinades etc.

Are Peluche loquats better than average ones? I heard some say they are better but some say they are worse

Hi! The true Peluche is really one of the best or the best! My fruits are as big as pears with some with 150g with more than 20 brix! Really sweet and tropical after taste…

Amazing! A sweet lemon? Is it really sweet or just less harsh than typical lemon?
