I’ve never heard of those. Do they taste different compared to regular apricots?

Its natural you never heard about them. They are chinese native varieties. I still don’t know about the flavor but i think they are great. The brix is +20, so very sweet!

Most of them are as grafted scions, but this year Im finnishing regarding trees.

that Japanese pear has a very attractive growth pattern and bark. do the fruit taste good?

Thanks a lot for your support! I always think the oposite… that people don’t interest much for what i post… Akizuki is considered the best or one of the best pears in Japan.

I can only speak for myself but I feel a mix of admiration and jealousy when I see the varieties you can 1. Grow in your climate and 2. Source
