Ok. You polinate by hand?

Yes for now, partly because, the tree next to the one with many blooms, doesn’t flower too much and at a later time,so I save some pollen.

I never did it… my trees are near each other and are both sunflower var.
I atract the insects to the base of both trees with sugar and fruit rests from our fruit juices. This year they are full of small fruits.

Luis do you spray copper?

What? People here do it to citrus and grape vines… usually a just do it to grape vines but this year i’m thinking to do it. Why?

There are so few chemicals that I can buy, everything is BIO. I am used to stronger chemicals. Do we have peach borers? I know there is a small borer. What do you use for insect damage? I am used to spraying many chemicals.

No i don’t put chemicals. I don’t have those peach borers… just ants put the leaves curled. The only thing i have is in citrus some mineral deficiency with yellow leaves and afids.

Thanks Luis, the only thing I have is aphids on my apples. How do you get rid of them. They are inside of curled leaves that have not yet opened. thanks.

Hi! They don’t do much bad things to apple trees, they are worse to citrus.

Are you having rain now? The weather map looks terrible over Portugal especially Lisbon.
