It will be awhile before We get it. I am pretty sure someone knows somebody in China and before long We will get it. Just like the jujube.

I am really interested in Piqa Boo pear. I have seen videos on you tube. I think it is from New Zealand. I would really like to have some scions of this pear.

Ordered from them last year…trees in the ground.

No way of knowing if they are true to name until they bare fruit…

true gambling.

I was able to be get some of those varieties I listed as new varieties from China with 4 grafts took. I Just have to wait a few years to be see how good the fruits taste before distributing the scions out @clarkinks there is a will then there will always be a way to get them here in our Midwest.

I’ll be putting an Autumn Moon in the ground this weekend from Santiam. I emailed with some questions and they said Autumn Moon (syn Akizuki) is the best fresh eating pear yet. Plus it’s about 2 weeks later than Korean Giant, so it extends the season a bit!
