I was looking for a quick and easy way to make a tasty apple dessert. Saw this mix in a country gourmet food store but also available direct or on Amazon. Used a Jonaprince and a Ruby Frost apple to give me 4 cups of sliced apples. One more cup than the recipe on the back of the mix says to use. I wasn’t planning on taking the photo so pay no attention I had eaten some of it. It was so good I had to share. Be sure to use an apple that holds its shape when baked. Use a shallow baking dish to be sure it’s not soggy in the middle.
Ingredients seem somewhat close to the cobbler dough my wife uses minus milk and lard. Though we are low sugar so that would definitely be listed lower on the ingredient list.
