Persimmon scion list

My graft wood list for this year:

one member who sent me wood for two varieties

Ed at a scion exchange for three varieties

wood from trimming two new trees from Just Fruits.

3 trees I grew out from scions I got from Cliff England last year

Wood from my own trees

Have 75 root stock to graft: guang yang, great wall, hira tanenashi, JT-02, fire crystal, yamato, cheong pyung, honan red, hachiya, saijo, picudo, rojo brilliante, kyung san ban si. 15 tee buds done already and waiting for the rest of the root stock to bud out

Looks like we have had the last cool front this weekend:

Sounds like you are off to a good start.

Is there a reason you are choosing T-buds instead of chip buds or whip and tongue grafting? And will you just let them grow this season and cut above the bud next spring or will you force the bud later this spring?

Thanks.

I got Cheong Pyong scions to graft too. Not much info out there on this variety.

Nice collection Phil!

Force the bud in a month. I tee bud because I also use it on citrus. It has worked for me on persimmon also. Chip bud and whip/tongue is also good.
