Planted a Celeste fig

Yesterday I planted a celeste fig in the ground. I know it’s not #1 but I thought I’d give it a try. Anything is going to be better then the other fig that I have in the ground LOL!

What is the in ground fig so I know what not to buy

LOL, A yellow something/ long neck? it just doesn’t do too great ripening in the climates it’s in.

Celeste may not be #1, but it is a pretty good fig.

Through various trades and generosity, I’m rooting probably 20 varieties of figs for the first time this year. I hope I like figs.

Yeah early ripening I think I read… very excited I know its still a really good fig.

Although it’s young, it showed up with the first fig this year. We’ll see how this one does.
