Please help identity this tree

Thank you all so much! I happened to have apple scions on hand.
I am very happy to know that I will have additional pear tree and an apple tree(after grafting) in my yard.

I grafted the crabapple with apple. Now I am ready to graft that pear tree. But the more I looked at the tree, the more I think it like apricot because its leafs has a little red vein like apricot leafs do.
Here are more pictures I took today. I cut a nearby bush short. So is it pear or apricot?



Hi @IL847 Still looks like Pyrus genus to me.

As mentioned above, Apricot shoots look like this.

My three apricots look like these: but I looked closely on the bark. All my apricot have reddish bark but that tree has grey-ish green bark which more closer to pear bark




Yes they do look very similar.

As you noted, one distinction was the color of young branches/trunk. Another distinction is apricots have this type of tender growth highlighted below which almost looks like a flower trying to unfurl. I never seen such in pears.
