Seeds in American persimmon - are they viable?

I have male persimmons here - all kaki.
Imagine my surprise when I found what look like well formed seeds inside my H118 fruit.

Is it possible that they are viable? What does embryo rescue entail? There is a near zero chance of American persimmons around here. I am probably the only fruit grower for miles around (apples and blueberries excepted)

They looked like mature seeds. Clean them well and make sure they sink on the bottom in a bowl of water to make sure they are viable. The dried seeds then place in a Ziploc sandwich bag and stratified them in the refrigerator over winter. Plant the seeds in pots in May then watch them grow.

I just did the sink test and all 5 sank in the water! How exciting!! Now they are cleaned up and put in ziploc bag in refrigerator.
I often get seeds but they are soft and can easily bite through them. This is the first time I found (possibly) viable seeds.

We have about another 3 weeks and I should be collecting up American Persimmons. They are still to firm yet.

I ate a rich tooie… and planted 3 seeds late October a few years ago.

April 25…found all 3 germinated.

One is my Kasandra now… and another Nakitas Gift.

What I think is cool is these may be new hybrids. Improbable as it is.
There is nobody growing persimmons here let alone male Americans.

Yes, even if it could have crossed with an American persimmon chances are it was some hybrid other than H118 fruit! So I think you have a good chance of something new!
