Show Us Your Fridge

I’ve been too indulgent- my kids not only demand real syrup, but it should be the stuff that grandpa made. I suppose “Demand” is too strong- it’s more of a request. I can’t really blame them- when we went on a trip, I bought a bottle of real syrup and brought it with me to the hotel breakfasts.

I’m with you Bob, but I suppose I can understand why restaurants use fake syrup. Real syrup is so expensive, and I can just imagine customers having their cakes swimming in syrup, then throwing away a half a plate of syrup (especially children).

One thing I don’t understand is why there are so many restaurants which don’t heat their fake syrup up. The only thing more disgusting than fake syrup is cold fake syrup.
