Skipley Farms inventory

The link on Scionwood Sources for Skipley Farms’ Scionwood List sends me to an error message. I don’t see the inventory on the Skipley website either. I can email a request for a list, but could some better detective skills than I find an active page to correct the link with? Failing that, could someone share a current list?

The excel link works for me?

Thanks. It wasn’t working on my iPhone, but the link worked on my computer.

Have folks successfully ordered? I’m not sure I’m doing it right.

I successfully ordered from Skipley farm about 5 years ago. His excel spreadsheet was update to date at that time, you would email your requests and he would send a PayPal invoice. The scion wood was fresh looking and I had good success with it. The following year I tried to order again, got a very delayed email response but then I never got the invoice. I gave up at that point.

The website currently says the excel spreadsheet is not up to date, and there is a convoluted explanation about how to order, mentions something about sending him reminders. I am not sure it is worthwhile.

I orderd a few years back. Would again, i have at least 30 trees grafted with scions from Skipley.

his list of spur bearers are nice for my espallier plans, thanks for the heads up

He was having health issues last year, so maybe email him to confirm he can get the scions for you.

I successfully ordered trees at the beginning of this year. I tried emailing, but didn’t get a response; then, I went via his Etsy site and it went very smoothly. I don’t see any current listing there for scions, but I’m pretty confident there were in the past. So, I can’t say if there just not posted yet or if he’s not selling them via Etsy this year. (The Etsy listings I’ve seen in the past were just a single posting for “apple trees”, and then you write your desired varieties in the “notes”)

I emailed before Christmas, and then again maybe last week. No response. Hes got a couple varieties of scion I cant find elsewhere so Id love to order from him, but Im not sure if I should try reaching out again or not. If I hear anything back Ill let you know.

The farm is only 20 miles from my home. I have attended his grafting seminar before. I could possibly help out if they aren’t sending scions any more.

I am concerned he got hit hard by the flooding. The farm is in the area that got hardest hit by the flooding along the snohomish river over the last 2 weeks. All the fields along there were lakes on historic high flood levels. The Christmas tree farm just up the road from skipley farms, where we got our tree this year, was pictured on the national news with the road and fields under several feet of water.

I hope he was spared the worst of it.
