I don’t have any experience budding so my plan was just to do some cleft grafts.

I went through your thread earlier as well. I just wasn’t sure if there was a difference using summer budwood vs fresh greenwood cuttings or dormant scionwood.
I have used them all. Tbuds work best this time of year. Did you see the aluminum hats trick in my post? It works very good.
