Summer greenhouse planting

my greenhouse with fans and vents open can get up to 120F midsummer. it’s right by the rain barrels and I can irrigate easily though.

I’ve got corners to plant in ground if I want- I was thinking to put fig there but am worried about that heat. what in ground trees do you all think would do well in there? I have olives, a brugmansia, figs, avocado- among others- but am considering that high heat, it can last a month some years at that day time temp in there.

in winter it’s just above frost in those corners so maybe a small tropical or subtropical?

anyone running greenhouse with in ground plants, I would love to hear what you’re doing there- if you get heat like I do.

I think you would need to do evaporative cooling in the summers if it gets that hot. (Which is easy enough in your arid climate)

Unless you grow corn or other C4 plants nothing LIKES it above 90° (though some tolerate higher temps)

I run heat sources in winter and was really hoping to find heat loving plants for summer so I don’t need to run an appliance beyond the fans in summer. electric bill

Fans and water are all you need
