Anyone experimenting with Oso?

I started a thread on it here but haven’t followed up with any actual experimenting after failed rooting and then something eating the seedlings.
Do you mean using it as a rootstock for other species, or for improved selections of this species?
some sort of top working to another species was what I was originally thinking, but it’s the only one in its genus, and it’s already got so many things going for it…
It’s looking ready to leaf out here so I might have already missed this years window to get better tasting scions from swincher
