Those look amazing. Like a cousin of the Panachee fig. I see there’s a few sellers on eBay using the same photo. I wouldn’t buy from anyone on eBay unless I knew them personally.

Similar to the Zaosu pear.

I have grown it for a couple of years.

Do you grow the red Zao Su Li? Do you have scions available for those wanting to obtain it?

I do but too late this year for anymore scions as the trees have pushed too far along

Do you do bud wood later in the year? The true red Zao Su Li has been hard to find. I have seen other striped red pears. I graft non dormant pears. The success rate is lower.

you can reach out to me and see but typically I do not do bud wood as we have a cabin rental business and wedding business and July is just crazy around here

Thanks, it is a busy time of the year.

That looks like the Humbug/Pasanka pear that is available from multiple sources in the US.

I agree it looks the same as Humbug/Pasanka. I think Schweizerhosen is the proper name. They mention it as the same here as well on this old thread. It is not that easy to find.

Cliff England @KYnuttrees has it. I get the impression that he is not too keen on it outside of the appearance.

I grow Humbug but it is a pain in the rear. I also grow Bergamote d’Automne Panachée which I think is called Schweizerhosen also and is a striped pear.
