Can any of the experts here tell me what I’ve got going on with this Beurre Giffard pear which was planted this spring. It’s been a moist warm spring here in Oklahoma. It had been putting on normal growth until a couple of weeks ago when all new growth became smaller and misshapen with this pinkish/purple discoloration. No recent herbicides applied on the property. Thanks!
Pear blister mites. If you search the forum, there are several threads about it. A common issue with pears. Treatments must be done before leaves emerge.

On a cool evening spray both sides of leaf with a hortcultural oil mix. Should be the light stuff. Follow the label, use a few drops of dish soap or murphys oil soap
If it’s pear leaf blister mite (and I also think it is the early stages of pear leaf blister mite), you can’t do anything about it now.
