What equipment are you using to spray around your trees? I want to mow my isles like yours, but they’re rough. I’m thinking of renting a power rake to smooth the rows.

We use a sprayer from Mankar.

It is a handheld with a hood. We have an older version. They have been very dependable. It take patience and stamina but we only do this once per summer. We love the results.

Just great! So well done and neat!

A surprise!I was walking by a Raspberry Red Nectarine tree today, one that seemed like all the fruits were removed, when they were nickle size. One escaped.Maybe the thing should be bagged three times.

My kids have been eating these zestar apples as hard and fast as they can. Maybe they aren’t fully ripe but no body is complaining.

Wow, my Pink Lady won’t ripen until Nov.
Mine is considered a small apple.

i have a kumquat tree and im hoping the spiders will eat the aphids?

I hope you’ll post pics for comparison. This is a 5th leaf van well nursery tree. I think it is pink lady but it sure is early

Here in California my Pink Lady has not even started to color. I usually pick mine in December.

I’m going to net my nects today to protect them from the squirrels. Last time my trees managed to set fruit, I didn’t get a one of them - squirrels took them all.

That is because that apple is a zestar. Still early but it’s not a pink lady. I went and checked my notes and I was wrong thinking it was a pink lady.

I may have to do that in the future,at least while the tree is still small.Hopefully then, the animals won’t be too hungry and aggressive.

In the process, I learned I have to protect them from the JBs!

I didn’t realize how many fruits I had on that tree - 2/3 of them had to come off, and I hope that’s enough.
