they work great in aug -sept. drifting them on the river with small hook and light line. got some huge fall spawning color brook trout on them.
I was waiting until just this week to pick some beautiful muscadine grapes and my Ameeican persimmons. Unfortunately Iām to late. Deer ate all but 2 grapes out of hundreds and left only one Asian persimmon. Bastards. Iām going to have to resort to deterants now they are producing wellā¦

200-250lb. 2 yr. old. smaller head. good eating size. got those big slugs ready just in time. my brothers guide camp bagged 19 out of 22 hunters last week. biggest is 393lb.
i have and its good but not for grilling. fat has a strange smell to it that lingers when fried. good in stews and roasts.
5 inch snake under my fig tree not sure what it is, best guess is a water snake correct me if Iām wrong. He flattened out and started jumping at me so I just left him alone.

It has round pupils from what I could tell in the photo and I thought water moccasins had snake eye pupils but I have also heard that babies donāt always look like their parents but I donāt know thatās why I stayed clear of it
