Five year old.

Thanks @Naeem

Surly mine will kick in one of these years.

Big lettuce harvest on my lunch hour today.

If all fruit trees were as eager to produce fruit as gerardi mulberry is… my patience would not be so much required.

As each bud opens 2 mulberries are revealed.
I can wait that long

Cherry of unknown variety, I’m guessing Stella, blooming three weeks later than last year:

First of the tree peonies to bloom:

First insects I’ve seen visiting the greenhouse avocado flowers this spring, even though I’ve been opening the doors on most sunny days. At first I thought they might be fungus gnats, but they seem a little larger (unless I’m misremembering how big fungus gnats are? It’s been like a year since I’ve seen them in the greenhouse). There were about 3 of them going from flower to flower, definitely seemed to be feeding on the nectar:

The pictures of your Avocado blooms are the first time I’ve ever seen the flowers.

Those ones were mostly closed so you can’t see their structure as well, but the last one I posted was all the way open:

Decent crop on the loquat tree. I thinned them a bit. Some of the varieties I am excited to try - Sunset, Sugarcane, Vista White, Fletcher White and Portal (Thanks @ramv). So far, my favorites are Argelino and Big Jim. Kando was decent but didn’t wow me last year but looking forward to its second year fruits.

Looks amazing.
Most of my fruit got frosted out. But it won’t be a total loss. I think Argelino got completely frosted. But Kanko seems more cold tolerant. Also portal.

Gerald’s Rose Azalea - one season in ground.

Not sure what this weed is, but it is everywhere and it’s pretty.

That is lesser calendula, an invasive european plant. It has bulbs underneath so even strong herbicides struggle to control. Ive been painting mine with glyphosate and i still cant control it.

I did a google search but doesn’t look the same as the the one I posted.

The yellow flowers I posted have five very bright yellow petals, while lesser calendula has many more petals (almost like a Zenia).

Commonly known as Buttercup.
