How is your weather? (Part 2)

Yeah, the tropical moisture that was supposed to be here a month ago is finally gonna get here. I’m working in the Broward/Palm area and it rained for a few hours last night and has been a dreary on and off all day.
Using my willpower to push all this moisture up to my plants in Tampa. Looks like this afternoon might be the start of a week of rain at home finally.

What a change from last year. Seemed the spigot shut off in mid May last year and didn’t get turned back on until September.

Rain all afternoon here. Heaviest did stay just south. Extended looks wet even into next week.

Nothing like S FLorida:

  • At 422 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Hallandale Beach, Aventura,
Hollywood, Dania Beach. Between 6 and 10 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 3 to 7 inches are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

We missed the big rain yesterday - it went to Indiana.

I’m between Hammond and Slidell just off the lake.

When it rains, it pours.

Just means a good chance of a bit of rain, whether it’s an inch or two or 5+.

I just hope it’s spread out a bit.

38.5F last night, yikes!

Inch to 2 inches of rain poured down last night. More tonite with a cold front passage. Hot today. Dew points into the 70s making it feel tropical. Very windy. Grass mowing is continuous this spring. River set to come up to its highest mark so far this year. Not a good boating year so far. Rain rain rain…oh and more next week too.

sounds like us last summer. couldn’t catch a break and the river stayed near flood stage all summer. the nights rarely got below 70. humidity at 70-80% all the time. miserable to work in the yard.

Dewpoint of 73 today. Not my kind of weather

Onions are really starting to size up, but my apricots have lots of scab (no spray). Oh well.

Its 30F right now at Glacier National Park visitor center.

my apples are about marble sized right now as well as my stacyville pears.

Some massive rains for S Texas and N Mexico. Not sure if those areas typically get this amount of rain. Next 72hrs

Heat is drying out everything - drought expanding rapidly. Rain keeps missing us.

Good thing there was so much rain this spring.
