My brother/nephew head to Rainy Lake in another week or 2 and the guy said there was still 23 inches of ice. I said that should be gone fast with sunshine/warmth.

Welp that was disappointing got a whopping .08 “ of rain in our rain event yesterday. Slight chance of rain today then nothing on the 10 day with Friday being the exception.

At least you got a measurable amount! It drizzled lightly for about 15 mins here. At least it was cloudy for getting my Roselle established in ground.
We hit mid 90s on Tuesday, which is usually the critical mass of evaporation → condensation → percipitation. Supposed to rain every day after that. Figures crossed for no 100+ this year.

Yeah been flirting with 90 every day mid 80s but today is cool, overcast and windy. 68 with 30mph gusts feels cool by comparison.

First serviceberry blossoms opened today. A few warm days really got things moving. My Early Gold and Ure pears should be in full bloom by the end of the week.

Its low 80Fs right now along the Minnesota/Canada border.
No real heavy rain chances until day 10 or better. Maybe this year will be on the drier side.

Someone my wife knows had an Oriole at her feeder today in La Crosse. I see them around this area some years. Neat birds.

86 right here now. First day in the '80s, or '70s for that matter this year. Hi of 49 on tap tomorrow. Apricot and Plum blossoms are swollen. With the cold front coming in tonight though, I don’t think they’ll open till the warm up comes in a couple more days. Several days on forecast to be in the '80s next week.

Weather here is God tier. I live for stuff like this. I really have come to hate winter although i’m sure i’ll get sick of summer by late August/Sept. Dry pattern setting up here. Watering a lot.

90s possible Sunday-Tuesday or Wednesday. That’s crazy for this area in early May. I can say I’ve not seen that here since 2012, and I don’t recall those temps at my old place 6 hours southeast of here this early either.
