How is your weather? (Part 2)

We’ve had less than 2" of rain this spring. We’ve been under high fire danger warnings for a few days, throw in some 90s and wind starting this weekend and it could get ugly.

The orchard is flooded again and the forecast is for another 1-2 inches of rain tonight and rain tomorrow.

Same here, and that’s very infrequent

I wondered how you were making out, you’ve had the same system circling over you for the past week. We missed the extra 1-2 inches, but it’s still raining. I have new bench gfafts planted out that are now in standing water, and another 50 to get planted.

we’ve been getting showers and a tenth of a inch here and there. pretty much typical rain for may. been normally cool for the 1st time in 4 years. no crazy temps. just cool spring weather. i hear folks complaining and i remind them this is normal weather for this time of year. people got spoiled. lol!

Would be a hard day to dress around Lake Superior. You’d want shorts and a winter jacket depending on the wind direction.

its like that on the coast here. can be hot one minute, cold the next. the Bay of Fundy runs in the 50’s in summer.

Mid 40s and heavy rain today. New England spring weather at its finest.

mid 50’s but at least its sunny here. rain all weekend. looks to be mid 70’s next week.

Do you get over to the coast very often? Be nice place to go on a hot summer day. I’d like to visit the east coast. The furthest east I’ve ever made it was Ohio.

usually once a summer, i usually go to the more rocky southeast coast to avoid the crowds from MA, CT and NY. bar harbor is nice but pricey and touristy. worth checking out if you haven’t been. we haul our camper down there and stay at some remote campground not far from the ocean. there’s all kinds of little towns to explore away from the more popular areas.

Finally some real torrential rain. My satsuma and mulberry (pictured) among others are happy

No ocean around here for 1000 miles. I need to get out there. My kids are almost at the age where we can be free.

So much rain. Mushrooms are growing EVERYWHERE. 2 magical days to dry out and then it looks like rain every day, again. Growing fruit is stressing me out!

The rain has arrived. It was at 3/4" of an inch when I looked during the lull. Probably an inch plus now. Hopefully the rainy season is starting so I can stop irrigating.

77F yesterday and should top 80F today and stay mid 80Fs thru late week when a potent storm runs thru N Minnesota. N Minnesota would see some snow mix in—i doubt anything accumulates this time of year. Hopefully we get some rain around here with that front. A week from now we would be in the 30Fs. I’ll be covering my matos/peppers.

Then highs in the 50s for a few days. Unusual to say the least
