I had 93F in the car. This is too warm for May. Overnight low was only in the mid 60Fs. Showing mid 50Fs tonite so looking forward to that. Still looking for some rain. Good beach/pool weather.

Upper 80s/low 90s for a maybe the last 5 days and another week or more in the forecast. Zero rain. Lawns are going dormant and it’s only May. Could be an ugly year if the pattern doesn’t change.
Finally stopped raining and being cloudy today, my serviceberry cuttings probably aren’t happy about that but the rest of my garden is.
Rain
It’s going to get worse. A lot of the long time short range models are getting discontinued in a couple of months for a newer model. And in my short experience with it so far, it needs a lot more time before it should be operational.
70’s & 80’s everyday. Still got a light frost last night, but no damage. I hope the sky is done farting ice on us, but you are not truly in the clear here till June 15th. If the wind switches and starts coming off Lake Superior we cool down at night FAST.

Extended is all 80Fs for highs and 50Fs for lows. Sunshine … 8-14 is way above normal for northern states. I’m watering everything daily. Tomatoes in the ground look great. Going to be an early year at this rate.

Woke up last night to a thunderstorm at 3:00 am. Happy to lose a bit of sleep for that. We ended up getting an excellent soak of about 0.6”, which is really a lot for here. So thankful.

86F this afternoon. Humidity was low. Ground getting crusty. Next chance of rain is like a week from now.
finally sunny and low 60’s today. got a shot at 70 tues. been plenty of rain this spring. everythings growing beautifully. have the mow every 4-5 days though.

Unfortunately had a stretch of rain that probably hindered dragonfruit flower pollination
Had some snow this morning mix in with the rain. Over 2” of rain now. 39° and almost noon. This may be the coldest it’s been here on record for this late in the season at midday.

82F dry sunny and an east wind. Slowly turning into a desert here.
Go up around Lake Superior and you’ll need a winter jacket this afternoon. I would imagine this is pretty common in May with a lake breeze. Later in the summer a lake breeze feels nice.

We can’t get out of the 60’s here (40’s at night) and they’re sayin’ it’s going to stay that way through early June.
