Is this apple scab? I’ve never had anywhere close to this bad on anything. I think Hoople’s Antique Gold, first fruits on too young tree. I think the leaves looked mostly okay. Maybe some scratches or lesions on branch. I pruned the whole branch off because it originated near the base of the tree and I’d only kept it to try one or two fruit.
This bug is on plum leaf. What is it? Is it good or bad guy?

How many tail parts(cerci)are there?Two or three?
I think there was 2.
That looks like a mayfly to me. Completely harmless. They hatch in streams and trout love them. Hench the term fly fishing.
If its not a mayfly I have not clue what it is.
@scottfsmith , @LarryGene , et al,
Need help identify this, please. Never seen it before. It is all over my Euro plum trees. Only on the undersides of leaves.
Does not know what damage it has done. So far the leaves and fruit look normal.
Those are aphids infected with something I forget the name of … they are all swelled up. It is good news, it means the aphids are getting killed. I saw some of those this spring for the first time, I put a picture here somewhere.
This maybe what you are seeing ?
Thank you @scottfsmith and @Hillbillyhort very much. That’s good news for the day. No wonder that things felt like shell with nothing inside!!
The bad news of the day is catching OFM in action inside flagging shoots!!
They are here.
@scottfsmith maybe it’s *Beauveria bassiana
Which is a fungus that would love to kill aphids, or other insects and turn them white.
Just seeing this thread for the first time. I’ve been unsuccessful in diagnosing what is going on with this Mt Royal plum tree - bare root planted a month or so ago. Anyone know what may be going on?

IL847, post #1141: Fruit fly, perhaps in the Strauzia genus.

^ note that these are not a pest of fruit.
Larry thanks! You are my bug guy😀. As long as you say it is not a fruit pest I am relaxed
chingchungly: I agree with speedster mayfly ID.
Bad news for sure, but I always get a sense of satisfaction when I kill one!
I found this on one of grapes leaves. I thought was blister mites but after taking closer look, it doesn’t look like blister mites. So what is it and should I destroy it or keep it?
I have never seen aphid mummies before. Nature is sometimes really excellent!
Are those black things eggs or blackberries?
