More taiwan long mulberries are ripe
I am curious, so i got some seeds of these and planted them… i wonder what kind of mulberry should i get from these. True to the original cultivar? Females, males? Long berries also? No idea
Any idea @Richard, @jujubemulberry ? Lol
No male polen nearby as far as i know!
Just collected a himalayan from cyprus and did the same thing… planted the seeds lol
New arrivals
. Psidium arboreum - Giant araçá/ Açu
. Another Eugenia anthropophaga- pitanga bananinha
They are incredible! Congratulations Carlos!
I saw some of your young trees had chicken wires around them. What kind of pests do you have over there.
@tonyOmahaz5 we have little t-rex dinossaurs! Hehe
Just joking.
In my orchard i have voles, i have lost a lot of trees to them. I believe i have rabbits too because i see trees trunks chewed way above the soil level also… i never saw the rabbits though, so i can not be sure. We dont have deers here, so i dunno what other animal besides rabbits could do that damage so high in the trunk.
But i use as pest control mainly tree trunk covers and bait stations with poison
I dunno where you saw the wire mesh. Lol
