Only Raintree is selling it. They do not grow it though. A wholesale nursery, forget the name? Is growing Nadia. Many nurseries are selling it just not online nurseries, which is very strange.
Burpee is selling it online but they are stating that it is out of stock as of yesterday.
Boy they show a picture of Nadia all cracked and some with blotches on them. I think every fruit in the picture is cracked! At the Burpee Nursery.
@itheweatherman Your Nadia #2 is looking very promising. I think you’ll get a taste of it. When do these trees ripen their fruit anyway. In late cherry season - early plum season, or with the plums?
I should know when it ripens here in Michigan this year if all goes well.
I’m thinking sometime in early July.
Had the same experience with raintree nursery. They told me they were going to ship late january-early february. Did not receive email from them even in mid february. Had to email them back and forth for a 2 weeks before I got fed up and called them. They told me they would ship that same day, then went on to ship late the next day. Very disappointed in their customer service.
Goyo, in all fairness, I have not had this kind of experience. Just that they seem to ship a wee bit late for my part of the country, which is about the first to put dormant trees in the ground. Other than that, their service has been very good, and their tree quality also has been very good.

I’m thinking Mid-June in SoCal.
So far, we have Emerald Drop Pluot as the confirmed pollinator, or there’s another confirmed pollinator? Anyone?
If some on mine bear fruit,I won’t be able to narrow it down to just one,at least not this year, because about six different varieties have been used.
Should know in about a week or two.
Is Emerald Drop the only pollen that was intentionally applied to yours? Brady
I’m having the same problem with Raintree. When I order from Bay Laurel, they send my trees, when I tell them to, usually late January. This is my first order
from Raintree, and they told me, they don’t ship east of the Rockies until March 11, which is way late for me. But they promised the trees would be dormant. So they should ship tomorrow.
They will be. I get mine from Raintree in May and they are dormant. I’m expecting a replacement Weeping Santa Rosa from them May 1st. It died last year, the Nadia was awesome, that came with it. Doing well. This WSR is stubborn to grow here, this will be my 3rd try. They sent a very small tree that had some dead wood, it should have never been sent. They seem not to have very good examples of this tree. Other trees were great! I will try again too, if I have to, I will buy the tree elsewhere though!
Drew,
I truly believe that SR is a warm weather plum and does not do very well
in cold weather areas. There might be better alternatives for you. I can send
you some SR scion wood, if you want. Let me know, because I need to cut
it TODAY, because mine is very close to popping.

Ray -
I had a conversation with someone at Raintree a few years back because I wanted to get my trees earlier than they were planning on shipping. They wouldn’t do it because of concerns of the trees freezing along the way, like sitting over night in a UPS truck in Montana or Nebraska or anywhere else along the route.
SR is borderline here. The Michigan plum Association does suggest it though. So thought I would try it. Thanks very much for the offer, I will try next year, so a raincheck till next year. I don’t think I have room anywhere, I have a lot of other plum scion to graft.
Yes, Emerald Drop pluot pollen was the only pollen source that I used to pollinate Nadia.
Mail me some pollen! I’m starting to see bud swell on my trees, still super early here. I have bit to wait still.
Well hopefully FK, DD, FQ or FS can pollinate miss Nadia!
It’s too late now, the two multi-graft pluots have already fruited.
I did saved Chocolate Jewel plum pollen in the fridge, but I used it all to pollinate my Rainier Cherry.
Only green i see is on my elderberries.
I want to cross Nadia with a hybrid plum.
Same here! Well I see a little red on the Indian Free peach, and also green on a blueberry. The Pluot buds are swelling. Getting there!
