Nick Botners Apple Collection

There are some rare apples in there! It’s hard to believe he died 4 years ago. His collection lives on!

Chris Homanics has picked up scionwood for all the best varieties in that orchard and is likely grafting them. He likely has them for sale.

There are many trees that are mispelled etc. At this time there are no descriptions. The main thing is they are saving botners collection. They have undertaken a huge task! Chris Homanics name keeps coming up but every website i find of his is dead. He might be on facebook etc. . I’m glad someone else is growing these varities. 39thparallel grows a huge amount of apples.

Chris seems to prefer being on platforms that steal his private information. For some reason, he hasn’t posted here.
Hey Chris, if you are reading this, and you likely are, consider this an invitation to join the forum!

Likely according to Chris’ tastes.

Chris has had lots of opportunity to observe both the fruit and the trees at Botner’s orchard over the years.

The Temperate Orchard Conservancy systematically has been propagating all of the apples feasible from Botner’s applecollection.

Ram, I encourage you to check out the Agrarian Sharing Network. They have a website, but also active on Facebook.
