It is very difficult now to find people like @alan who are experts in pruning that are willing to actually do it. He works only in the New York area but has an impressive reputation there as being one of the very best. Back to pruning my question would be what do you want to achieve by pruning? Are you pruning for fruit production, height control or all of the above?
