Would love to see a cross xection of the bb persimmon. Hard tjme finding a nice Pic

@snarfing … my BB have just a few seeds so far… but large seeds.

The flesh and skin is a more rummy color… not the clear orange like 100-46, H118.

I have 2 left… one on the tree still just starting to show orange… and one in my ripening chamber that may be ready tomorrow.

I have a note to get a pic and post it. I will let you know.

Oh well… forgot that I ate the one in my ripening chamber for lunch today. It was very good. No astringency.

When that one left on the tree ripens… I will do my best to get some pics for you.

Ate a chestnut crab today. One of my favorite apples. Just a fantastic flavor and a pleasing amount of sweetness and tartness. So sweet when it’s ripe it leaves your mouth and fingers sticky.

In addition to tasting several canning and baking projects, some pink banana squash,

and too many tomatoes, I shared the non-buggy parts of a couple Hudson’s Golden Gems with this guy again. He has definite favorites. He spits the tart apples out!

They look GREAT. No spray Honeycrisp or organically sprayed? Just curious. I am in SW Ohio and I always have to spray if I want any decent looking fruit to use.

Thanks! Organically sprayed. There’s no way anything would survive no spray where i’m at. (Other than those rare no spray varieties)

Yep, I know what you mean. Too many insects and all the diseases that want to attack the fruit.

I ate 2 jujubes. one Sugarcane and one Honeyjar. both quite sweet.

Sugarcane still on the tree.
