Just want to brag on my youngest daughter a bit. Our head high school volleyball coach approached us Dads secretly after the last away game and asked if we would be willing to scrimmage our daughters before they start post season play. Heck yes! LOL It was a fun night. We tried to do our best imitations of our daughters both in dress and demeanor. Finally I got to act like a wise a%% and not get in trouble for it! LOL She is high energy and full throttle pump you up hype player on the court. That is her stress coping mechanism. She HATES to lose. She is a solid player and has college playing ambitions. She is a junior this year and has had some interest from D2 schools and lower. Since most of us Dads are around the 50 year age mark we focused on not giving ourselves life threatening injuries while still showing the girls we can still hang a little with them. At the end of the night my daughter came up to me, wrapped her arms around me and said, " I love you thanks for always being my fan. It meant the world to me to see you walk through the door tonight to play." Those my friends are the days you miss the most when they head out into the world on their own. This isnāt my 1st rodeo, but it doesnāt get any easier!

We have a little granddaughter!
Vera (long e please) Claire arrived this past Monday.
20 inches long, 8 lb12 oz she was born at home.
This picture was taken her first day.
This picture was Wednesday morning.
Her big brother Clancy loves herā¦but doesnt understand why they wonāt let him bumble around like a drunken sailor walking around her on the bed.
Here is the new big brother.
We have been enjoying him this weekā¦so daddy can get his work done and his mama can rest. Ya really donāt need a villiageā¦just a family.

I didnāt know a thread like this existed. I spent about a half hour looking through all the photos of all of you. Really great to put names to faces. And itās amazing that I canāt find a single pic of my entire family but I guess my wife takes most of the pics. Here one of me and my wife.

We had one daughter and one son.
A warning for youā¦ daughters get married eventuallyā¦ and wowā¦ weddings can be very expensive. You need to be saving for college educationā¦ sureā¦ but you best be saving for weddings too ;-(

Thank you! Outnumbered yesā¦and both of my siblings were sisters growing up so I always thought to myself that the man upstairs was trying to work on me in some regard. Having a 3, 14, and 18 year old certainly gives me the full spectrum parenting experience these days. Thanks for the warning- cars, prom dresses, and college have certainly proven to add up once they get a little older.
