i feel that. Seems the ladies and kiddos come out during daylight hours most rather than night time. I’m considering leaving the gates open during the day for them when we do make a fence

Word has definitely gotten out to the locals about how there’s a lady that shares her food and water and doesn’t try to chase them off. This one came real close to me to check me out, got some water, and left.
The Ravens have been flying closer to me too and i think that’s pretty cool.
Everyone may think differently but to me, if I have more than I need, i don’t mind sharing.
I’ve asked the birds to take the whole berry instead of pieces of them and i swear some of them listen because some started doing just that instead of pecking. But now the wasps and hornets cleanup the berries for us along with the bunnies and whatever decides to wait in the forest line for us to go back instead in the evenings.

Butterflies love these tilthonia. These are just variegated frittilaries but they also attract monarchs and tiger swallowtails.
